Jaume G. a posé une question
sur le thème Choix de carrières
à Safran (Equipe RH)
Bonjour,
Concernant le niveau de français, vous devez être capable de vous faire comprendre et d’interagir avec votre entourage.
Bien cordialement,
Keltoum
Hola Jaume,
Well, embarking a French Company In France might be quite a challenge if you are not able to show a minimum of speaking / understanding in French. Of course, many people are able to speak English in our Aerospace Community, but it will not be sufficient. Have you thought about Mexico? Safran has several interesting facilities over there, and it could be a nice opportunity for a Spanish native.
Thank you for your interest, et bonne chance pour vos recherches. Ne ratez pas une occasion d'améliorer votre Français !
Alain
Hello Jaume,
Indeed a good solution would probably to start on a Safran site based in a Spanish-speaking country.
Although our employees are becoming more comfortable in English, speaking French is still important today to be comfortable on a French site.
As our group is truly international, I think you have many opportunities in front of you.
Good luck for your search!
Hola Jaume,
I confirm the previous answers. Safran is an international group but remains culturally "French". This is changing and the merging with ZODIAC, very present abroad increases the part of employees out of France (approximately 50% in France, 50% outside). Many of our employees do not speak French and in many of our factories, the spoken language is English.
I think the important question for you to answer is: in which country do I want to join Safran ?
- If you want to join in France, it will much more comfortable to speak French.
- If you want to join an entity out of France, you will of course need to speak English. French will not be a prerequisite, but in your evolution within Safran it will be an advantage to speak French ... but you will have time to learn !
Bonne chance !
